Governor William Dummer married Catharine Dudley, daughter of Governor Joseph Dudley and Rebecca Tyng, on 20 April 1714.3 Lt. Governor William Dummer made a will on 8 June 1756.2 He died on 10 October 1761 in Boston.4 Probate was granted on 6 November 1761 Executors: John Wheelwright, Andrew Oliver, and Ezekiel Goldthwait, Esq. Dunham and Lucia Brett.1 Lovina Ellen Marion Dunham married John Milton Sewall, son of John Milton Sewall and Dorcas Cushman, on 29 May 1859.4 In 1893 her two daughters, Nellie Noyes and Jennie Hayward petitioned the Plymouth County Court that Charles A. Noyes be appointed as Ellen's guardian because of her dementia.5 Lovina Ellen Marion Dunham appears on the census of 1900 at Brockton, Massachusetts, living with her son-in-law, Nathan Hayward and family.6 She died in 19027 and is buried in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton, Massachusetts, the memorial inscription includes her husband who died in North Carolina.7
