Thomas Denny died Tuesday evening at the age of seventy, at his residence in New York, after a short but painful illness.
He was born in Leicester was educated for the law, and in early life practised at the Boston bar. About 1834 he went to New York and engaged in mercantile business, his firm having been Porter, Denny & Co. In 1846 he engaged in the note brokerage business, having formed the firm of A.
