Sir William Dugdale was born on 12 September 1605 in Blythe Hall, Shustoke near Coleshill, Warwickshire.2 He was the son of John Dugdale of Shustoke and Elizabeth Swynfen.1 Sir William Dugdale married firstly Margery Huntbach, daughter of John Huntbach de Seawall, co. Stafford and Mary Austen, on 17 March 1622/23.3 Sir William Dugdale. Garter King-at-Arms.1,4 He died on 10 February 1685/86 in Blythe Hall at the age of 80 in his chair, of a fever caught by tarrying too long in the meadows near his home.5 He was buried in ? Shustocke, Warwickshire.

Edmund Dummer was born circa 1624 calculated from his age at death.2 He was the son of John Dummer.1 Edmund Dummer married Barbara Cornelius, daughter of Richard Cornelius, say 1661.1 Edmund Dummer made a will on 17 October 1698 To my dear wife the use of all my goods, stock and household stuff, for her life. - To Thomas my son, my messuage or tenement in East street, in the parish of All Saints in the town of Southampton, and to his heirs forever. - To Richard and Cornelius my sons, each £250 ; and to them equally, my messuage or tenement in the parish of St. Mary, in Southampton aforesaid. - To my cousin John Hunt, of Lye Heath, in the parish of Southwick, £5, - To my sister Ann Kemish, 20 shillings per annum for life. - All residue to my sons Edmund and Thomas Dummcr, and I make them my executors.2 He died on 15 January 1701/2 in Swaythling, Hampshire.3 He was buried on 17 January 1701/2 in St. Mary's Churchyard, Swaythling, Hampshire.4

Torrey lists all three marriages.1,3,5,6 Hannah Dummer died in 1668.5

Jane Dummer was born circa 1627 probably in Bishopstoke, Hampshire.1,2 She was the daughter of Stephen Dummer and Alice Archer.3 Jane Dummer and Stephen Dummer emigrated in May 1638 on the Bevis from Southampton, with five children.4 Jane Dummer married Rev. Henry Sewall, son of Henry Sewall and Anne Hunt, on 25 March 1646 at Newbury, Essex County; the service being conducted by Richard Saltonstall.5,6 In 1647 Henry and Jane returned to England, with the Dummers and "dwelt awhile at Warwick and afterwards removed to Hampshire."7 Jane Dummer was buried on 18 May 1700 in the burying ground of the First Parish Church, Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, the resting place is marked by an old stone, erected by their eldest son, Samuel Sewall, which bears the following inscription: HENRY SEWELL SENT BY HENRY SEWELL HIS FATHER / IN THE SHIP ELIZABETH AND DORCAS, CAPT.
