Sewall appear on the census of 1880 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Frederick is a jeweler.5 Susan Lizette Arnold appears on the census of 1900 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she is living with her daughter Martha and her husband and children. Martha is her sole surviving child, another is deceased.2 She died on 21 February 1918 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 723 and is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.3

     Camilla Loyall Ashe was born on 9 May 1870 in San Francisco, California.2 She was the daughter of Richard Porter Ashe and Carolina Joyce Loyall.1 Camilla Loyall Ashe married Harold Marsh Sewall, son of Hon. Arthur Sewall and Emma Duncan Crooker, on 14 September 1893 in San Francisco, California.1,3 Camilla Loyall Ashe died on 7 September 1931 in the American Embassy, Paris, at the age of 61 at 10.30 p.m. of a heart attack, having earlier been taken ill at Le Touquet. The Boston Herald of 10th September reported PARIS, Sept. 10 - Funeral services held today for Mrs. Harold M. Sewall, mother of Ambassador Walter E. Edge, in the American Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity were attended by representatives of the government, leading members of the diplomatic corps and several hundred members of the American colony.
Minister of Budget Pietri and a representative of Aristide Briand were present, and the diplomats included the Polish ambassador, Chaptowski, the Argentine ambassador, Lebreton, and representatives of Italy, Belgium, Paraguay and Salvador. The services were conducted by Dr. J. W. Cochran and Canon George Gibbs of the American Church in the absence of Dean Beekman of the Cathedral. The body started for the Sewall family home in Bath, Me, tonight aboard the liner Paris, sailing from Havre. It was accompanied by Mrs. Sewall's son, Loyall P. Sewall, her daughter, Mrs. John W. Williams of Baltimore.4 A further funeral took place on 17 September 1931 at Grace Episcopal Church, Bath, Maine, she was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery.5,6
