     Lavinia W. Grimshaw was born on 7 December 1837 in Louisiana.² She was the daughter of George Grimshaw and Rachel Graves.¹ Lavinia W. Grimshaw married John L. Bates in Lockwood Parish, Louisiana.² Lavinia W. Grimshaw died on 2 September 1892 in Marlin, Texas, at the age of 54.

     Julia Irving Grinell was born in 1838.¹ She married George Sullivan Bowdoin, son of George R.J. Bowdoin and Fanny Hamilton.¹

     Josephine Lucy Grinnell was born on 16 August 1876 in New York City. She was the daughter of Robert Minturn Grinnell. Josephine Lucy Grinnell married Frederick Harold Van Rensselaer, son of John King Van Rensselaer and Mary Denning King, on 23 April 1898 in France and again, the following month in New York.^1,2

     Elizabeth Grinrod married Joseph Charles Lockwood.¹

     Catherine Groesbeck married Pieter Schuyler, son of Colonel Pieter Schuyler and Maria Van Rensselaer, on 29 December 1722.¹

     Elizabeth Groesbeck was born in 1707.¹ She married Stephen Van Rensselaer, son of Kiliaen Van Rensselaer and Maria van Cortlandt. Elizabeth Groesbeck died in 1756.¹

     Gerardus Groesbeck was baptised on 23 October 1709.¹ He was the son of Stephanus Groesbeck and Elizabeth Lansing.¹ Gerardus Groesbeck married Maria Ten Broeck, daughter of Dirck Ten Broeck and Margarita Cuyler, on 8 March 1739.¹ Gerardus Groesbeck died on 17 September 1788 at the age of 78.¹

     Elizabeth Jane Grogan was born on 22 November 1841 probably at Henryville, Ontario.³ She was the daughter of John Edward Knox Grogan and Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Powell.¹ Elizabeth Jane Grogan was baptised on 21 December 1841 at Iberville, Ontario.³ She married Major General Herbert Mark Garrett Purvis, son of Commander George Thomas Maitland Purvis and Mary Jane Austen, on 9 November 1858 in Tipperary, Ireland.^1,4 Elizabeth Jane Grogan died on 16 April 1885 in Hotel Windsor, Monte Carlo, Monaco, at the age of 43.⁵

     Irene A. Grogan was born circa 1895 in New York.² She was the daughter of Charles Grogan. Irene A. Grogan married Arthur Courtney Sewell, son of William Edwards Sewell and Sara Collins Owens, on 25 February 1922 in Queens, New York.³

     John Grogan was the son of John Edward Knox Grogan and Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Powell.¹ John Grogan died in 1880 in India.¹

     John Edward Knox Grogan. Lieutenant in H.M. 32nd Regiment of Foot. He was born circa 1803.¹ He married Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Powell, daughter of Dr. Grant Powell J.P. and Elizabeth Staats Bleecker, on 27 June 1841 in St. James' Cathedral, Toronto. John Edward Knox Grogan died on 17 January 1874 in 11 Castle Yard, Windsor Castle.²

     May Grogan was born on 15 November 1847 in Fort Beaufort, South Africa.² She was the daughter of John Edward Knox Grogan and Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Powell.¹

     William Grogan was the son of John Edward Knox Grogan and Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Powell.¹

     Note: some sources, according to Nicholas, say that he is David ap Llewelyn.¹ David ap Gronway married Angharad (Unknown).²

     Blanche of Grosmont, was born on 25 March 1345.¹ She was the daughter of Henry of Grosmont, Duke of Lancaster and Isabella de Beaumont.¹ Blanche of Grosmont, married John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster, son of King Edward III, and Philippa of Hainault, on 19 May 1359 in Reading Abbey, Berkshire.¹ Blanche of Grosmont, died on 12 September 1369 in Bolingbroke Castle, Lincolnshire, at the age of 24 of the Black Death.¹

     Henry of Grosmont, Duke of Lancaster married Isabella de Beaumont.

     Eva M. Gross married Cleveland Chalmer Stubbs, son of William Stubbs and Josie Sewall, on 28 March 1906 in Bucksport, Maine.¹

     Maria Rives Gross married Orville Horwitz.¹

     Earl Edward George Grosvenor was born on 16 November 1904. He was the son of Richard Arthur Grosvenor 2nd Duke of Westminster and Constance Edwina Cornwallis-West. Earl Edward George Grosvenor died on 13 February 1909 at the age of 4.

     Elizabeth Grosvenor was born circa 1519. She was the daughter of Randall Grosvenor and Anne Charlton.¹ Elizabeth Grosvenor married Thomas Bulkeley, son of William Bulkeley of Woore and Beatrice Hill, circa 1539.

     Mary Constance Grosvenor was born on 27 June 1910 in London. She was the daughter of Richard Arthur Grosvenor 2nd Duke of Westminster and Constance Edwina Cornwallis-West. Mary Constance Grosvenor died on 7 June 2000 at the age of 89.

     Randall Grosvenor was born circa 1480.¹ He was the son of Randall Grosvenor of Bellaport and Margaret Mainwaring.² Randall Grosvenor married Anne Charlton, daughter of Richard Charlton and Elizabeth Mainwaring, circa 1500.² Randall Grosvenor died in 1559.¹

     Randall Grosvenor of Bellaport married Margaret Mainwaring, daughter of Randall Mainwaring of Caringham.¹

     Richard Arthur Grosvenor 2nd Duke of Westminster was born on 19 March 1879. He married first Constance Edwina Cornwallis-West, daughter of Col. William Cornwallis West and Mary Adelaide Virginia Thomasina Eupatoria Fitzpatrick, on 16 February 1901 at St George Hanover Square, London. Richard Arthur Grosvenor 2nd Duke of Westminster and Constance Edwina Cornwallis-West were divorced in 1919. Richard Arthur Grosvenor 2nd Duke of Westminster died on 20 July 1953 at the age of 74.

     Lady Ursula Mary Olivia Grosvenor was born on 21 February 1902. She was the daughter of Richard Arthur Grosvenor 2nd Duke of Westminster and Constance Edwina Cornwallis-West. Lady Ursula Mary Olivia Grosvenor died on 5 June 1978 at the age of 76.
