     Oliver Hewlett Jones was born on 11 February 1801 in East Woods, Long Island.² He was the son of William H. Jones.² Oliver Hewlett Jones married Louisa Livingston, daughter of James Duane Livingston and Sarah Swift, on 30 March 1848.² Oliver Hewlett Jones died on 16 December 1870 in Manhattan, New York, at the age of 69.^2,3

     Oliver Livingston Jones was born on 4 May 1850.^2,3 He was the son of Oliver Hewlett Jones and Louisa Livingston.¹ Oliver Livingston Jones graduated in 1871 from Bellevue Hospital Medical College.⁴ He married Mary Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Charles H. Jones, on 5 November 1873.⁵ Oliver Livingston Jones died on 9 August 1913 in New York, New York, at the age of 63.⁶

     Oliver Livingston Jones Jr. was born on 1 April 1880 in New York.¹ He was the son of Oliver Livingston Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones.¹

     Orynthia Florence Evelyn Jones was born on 16 September 1903 in Duncan, British Columbia.¹ She was the daughter of Henry F.M. Jones and Orynthia Violet Lloyd.² Orynthia Florence Evelyn Jones married Richard Trevor McRae Dobell, son of William Molson Dobell and Constance May Sewell, on 30 January 1937 in All Saints' Church, Westholm, British Columbia.³ Orynthia Florence Evelyn Jones died in 1996⁴ and is buried in Westholme All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Vancouver Island, British Columbia.⁴

     Oscar Paul Jones was born on 17 July 1914.² He married Betty Louise Sewall, daughter of Earl Albert Sewall and Irene Mary Sipe, on 14 November 1946 in St Louis Park, Pennsylvania.¹ Oscar Paul Jones died on 1 May 1997 at the age of 82.² He was buried in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.³

     Paul Francis Jones was born on 1 January 1919 in Douglassville, Texas.^1,2 He was the son of William Clarence Jones and Edna Mae Sewall. Paul Francis Jones died on 29 August 2004 in Texarkana, Texas, at the age of 85.²

     Philip John Jones was born on 11 July 1885 in Ontario.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Arthur Jones and Harriet Schofield.³ Philip John Jones married Miriam Morphy on 25 November 1919 in Oshawa, Ontario.⁴ Philip John Jones died on 13 October 1958 at the age of 73² and is buried in York Cemetery, Toronto, Toronto Municipality, Ontario.²

     Philip Livingston Jones was born on 5 May 1890 in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, New York.^1,2 He was the son of Oliver Livingston Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones.³

     Richard Ireland Jones married Susanna Carroll Tilghman, daughter of Col. Edward Lloyd Tilghman and Juliana Carroll, in 1785 or 1786.^1,2 Kennersley is one of the largest and grandest 18th century houses in Queen Anne's County. Constructed circa 1785-98 by Richard Ireland Jones, this five-part house is an excellent example of high style design with clear evidence of the influence of contemporary pattern books. The size and elegance of the house are a reflection of the aspirations and accomplishments of Richard Jones and of his wife Susanna, daughter of Colonel Edward Tilghman, a leading figure in Queen Anne's County in the latter part of the 18th century. In overall form, Kennersley is somewhat unusual in that the hyphens are set flush with the south facade of the main block and the flanking wings. As a result, the central block has a somewhat unusual plan, consisting of a wide stair hall stretching across the front or south facade, allowing ready access to the hyphens. The principal first floor rooms open off the hall to the north, with a view of Southeast Creek, Island Creek, and Chester River. Particular details worthy of note include the gracefully curving stair in the southwest corner of the front hall, the superb mantels and the bold, crossetted architrave trim in the central block. It is also interesting to note that the flanking wings were constructed first and that the main house and the hyphens were then filled in, completing the five part plan.
Kennersley was constructed circa 1785-1798 by Richard Ireland Jones, a notable figure in the history of Queen Anne's County. Jones came to Maryland in 1784 as a representative of the family of Robert Eden, last colonial governor of Maryland. Eden had been forced to leave Maryland shortly before the Revolution, and following the peace settlement had returned to Maryland to attempt to salvage some of the "wrecked fortune" of Frederick, Lord Baltimore. In 1784 Eden died, however, and Richard Ireland Jones, a relative by marriage, was sent to complete the task. He first settled in Annapolis and then moved to Queen Anne's County to join his brother, Dr. Alfred Jones. In 1785 or 1786 he married Susannah Carroll Tilghman, the daughter of Edward and Julianna Tilghman, one of the most prominent families in Queen Anne's County. At the time of their marriage Susanna Tilghman owned a tract of 500 acres on South East Creek, near Church Hill. It was here that Richard Ireland Jones built Kennersley. In 1798, the Federal Direct Tax listed Richard I. Jones as the owner of part of Tullies Delight, "on Island Creek neare the mouth." Included is the following description, which clearly shows that Kennersley was by then complete:

Susannah died circa 1800 and left Kennersley to Arthur, but with a life interest to her husband, who later remarried. James Bordley, Jr., in his detailed study of the Hollyday and related families, gives the following account of Arthur's ownership: ...Unfortunately, Arthur was a prodigal spender, and it was not long after his marriage that he was seriously involved financially. He mortgaged his home, the sheriff sold his wife's inherited slaves, he tried to buy his father's life interest so he could--and finally did--sell "Kinnersley." His father said of him, "His plans of today are but his dreams tomorrow." Visionary and not practical, his father said, "Only his use of whiskey keeps me from thinking him unbalanced." By 1820 he had exhausted his resources and was in debt to the extent of seventy thousand dollars. His father could not then assist him, because "Much of my fortune had been squandered in schemes invented by Arthur." Henry Hollyday, II, of "Ratcliffe," who was one of the principal creditors of both father and son, in the end had to take over "Kinnersley" in 1827....²

     Richard Rudolph Jones was born on 18 April 1909 in Texas.¹ He was the son of William Clarence Jones and Edna Mae Sewall. Richard Rudolph Jones died on 16 February 1963 in San Bernadino, California, at the age of 53.¹

     Rosalie Adele Jones was born on 16 November 1853 in New York, New York.^1,2 She was the daughter of Oliver Hewlett Jones and Louisa Livingston.¹ Rosalie Adele Jones died on 2 May 1946 in Manhattan, New York, at the age of 92.²

     Rosalie Gardiner Jones was born on 24 February 1883 in New York.^1,2 She was the daughter of Oliver Livingston Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones.¹

     Ruth Mary Jones was born on 24 February 1870 in Ontario.^1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Arthur Jones and Harriet Schofield.³

     S. Gardner Jones was born circa 1827 in Mansfield.¹ He married Mary T. Dunbar, daughter of Thomas Dunbar and Hannah Thayer, on 6 August 1855 in Easton, Massachusetts.¹

     Hon. Samuel W. Jones married Maria Bowers Duane, daughter of James Chatham Duane and Mary Anne Bowers.¹ Hon. Samuel W. Jones died before 1858.

     Sarah Jones was born on 4 June 1686 in Concord. She was the daughter of John Jones and Sarah Temple. Sarah Jones married Lt. Daniel Hoar, son of Daniel Hoar and Mary Stratton, on 20 December 1705.

     Stanley S. Jones was born in 1891 in Ontario.¹ He was the son of Charles Arthur Jones and Harriet Schofield.²

     Stephen Lancaster Jones was born on 4 June 1871 in Whitby, Ontario.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Arthur Jones and Harriet Schofield.³ Stephen Lancaster Jones died on 18 September 1939 in Oshawa, Durham Regional Municipality, Ontario, at the age of 68.⁴

     Thomas Jones was born circa 1805 in Llanbrynmair, Montgomery.¹ He married Jane (Unknown). Thomas Jones was living at Braichodnant, Llanbrynmair, in 1869 at the time of his daughter's wedding.² He died on 22 July 1880 in Llanbrynmair (the newspaper notice of his death has him being 80 years old.)³

     Dr. Thomas Jones married Margaret Livingston, daughter of Philip Livingston and Christina Ten Broeck, on 30 July 1776 in Kingston, New York.²

     William Clarence Jones was born circa 1880 in Indiana. He married Edna Mae Sewall, daughter of Dr. Francis Lewis Sewall and Alice Marshall Finch, on 9 July 1908 in Cherokee County, Texas.^2,1 William Clarence Jones died on 4 May 1960 in Bowie County, Texas.³

     William P. Jones married Sarah C. Cowan.

     William Paul Jones was born on 15 May 1915 in Lovilia, Iowa.² He was the son of William P. Jones and Sarah C. Cowan. William Paul Jones married Kathryn Arlene Sewall, daughter of Charles David Sewall and Ellen Louise Johnson, on 3 March 1942 in Walla Walla, Washington.^1,3

     Alan fitz Jordan was the son of Jordan fitz Alan.¹ Alan fitz Jordan was living in 1167.¹

     Fannie B. Jordan was born on 14 January 1853.² She married Dr. Crosby Gordon Eaton, son of Sewall Eaton and Elizabeth Kimball Porter, on 29 June 1886.¹ Fannie B. Jordan died on 8 January 1941 at the age of 87.

     Isabella Frost Jordan was born on 14 August 1849 in Westbrook, Cumberland County, Maine.^1,2 She was the daughter of Samuel Jordan. Isabella Frost Jordan married Frederick Wood Sewall, son of Dr. Stephen Bayley Sewall and Hannah Wood Sheppard, on 20 June 1877 in Deering, Maine.^1,3 Isabella Frost Jordan died on 27 November 1911 in Wiscasset, Maine, at the age of 62³ and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wiscasset, Lincoln County, Maine.⁴

     James C. Jordan married Virginia H. Barker.¹

     Joan / Jane Jordan was the daughter of Richard Jordan dominus de Flotesbroke and Agnes de Puleston.¹ Joan / Jane Jordan married John Barbour, son of Thomas Browne alias Barbour.¹ In 1481 Staff. Joan Barbour, widow, sued Robert Taillour, of Warton, co. Stafford, husbondman, for breaking into her close at Weston Harold and cutting down her trees and underwood. Robert did not appear, and the Sheriff was ordered to arrest and produce him on the Octaves of St. John the Baptist.
