Dr. Franklin Sewall and Thedia Redelia Gilchrist.3 Maud Gilchrist Sewall died on 19 July 1960 in Sibley Hospital, Washington, District of Columbia, at the age of 89.4 Miss Maud Gilchrist Sewall, 88, a musician and founder of the District Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, died Monday at Sibley Hospital.
Born in Urbana, Ohio, Miss Sewall studied the violin in Europe and the United States.
She served as organist and choir director at the Church of the Holy City. 1611 Sixteenth street N.W. from 1897 to 1947. She lived at 1412 Delafield place N.W.
Miss Sewall, who lectured extensively and frequently wrote for national music publications, was also interested in chess, tennis, astronomy and camping. She played in women's chess championship competitions and served as president of the District Women's Tennis League.

E.M. Trafton, on 12 October 1912 in Island Falls, Maine.5 Merrill Sewall and Myrtle Gertrude Trafton appear on the census of 1920 at Island Falls, Maine, he gives his occupation as guide in the woods.6 Merrill Sewall died on 29 August 1961 in Island Falls, Maine, at the age of 70.7

Mike was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Iowa City, the son of Frank and Gertrude Casey Sewall. He was a graduate of City High School and attended the University of Iowa. Mike was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. On Feb. 27, 1954, Mike married Mary Margaret Jacobsen in Iowa City.
Mike had been employed by National Cash Register (NCR) for over 40 years. He was a member of the Elks Club and the City High School and UI Alumni Associations. He liked to garden, go boating and do his woodworking. Mike enjoyed the winters spent in Mesa, Ariz.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; and their four children, Peg Fitzpatrick of Philadelphia, Patrick (Laura) Sewall of Boise, Idaho, Tom (Carol) Sewall of Springfield, Mass., and Theresa (Todd) Hollander of New Orleans, La; eight grandchildren, Matt, Leigh, Kathleen, Jessica, Greg, Steven, Spencer and Alex; and one sister, Margaret Ford of Oregon.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.3

Mike was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Iowa City, the son of Frank and Gertrude Casey Sewall. He was a graduate of City High School and attended the University of Iowa. Mike was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. On Feb. 27, 1954, Mike married Mary Margaret Jacobsen in Iowa City.
Mike had been employed by National Cash Register (NCR) for over 40 years. He was a member of the Elks Club and the City High School and UI Alumni Associations. He liked to garden, go boating and do his woodworking. Mike enjoyed the winters spent in Mesa, Ariz.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; and their four children, Peg Fitzpatrick of Philadelphia, Patrick (Laura) Sewall of Boise, Idaho, Tom (Carol) Sewall of Springfield, Mass., and Theresa (Todd) Hollander of New Orleans, La; eight grandchildren, Matt, Leigh, Kathleen, Jessica, Greg, Steven, Spencer and Alex; and one sister, Margaret Ford of Oregon.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.3

Mrs. Garrett was born in Lackawannock Township, Mercer County, on May 3, 1909, to James C. and Eva V. Angcll Sewall. She married George J. Yarletts on April 19, 1928. He died on Aug. 3, 1964. She then married Weldon S. Garrett on Feb. 10, 1974. He died on June 12, 1970.
Mrs. Garrett was a homemaker, and is retired from the Garrett Locker plant in New Wilmington. Dr. Millard Freeman Sewall was born on 28 September 1878 in York, Maine.2 He was the son of Noah Millard Sewall and Emma E.F. Guptill.3 Dr. Millard Freeman Sewall married Helen Sidney Ditmars, daughter of Frazier R. Ditmars and Emma J. Douty, on 30 June 1906 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.4 Dr. Millard Freeman Sewall and Helen Sidney Ditmars appear on the census of 1930 at Commercial, Cumberland County, New Jersey.5 Dr. Millard Freeman Sewall died on 4 June 1945 in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, New Jersey, at the age of 66.6,7
Dr Sewall spent his boyhood and youth in New England and after completing a course of study in the high school of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with a class of 1895, he entered Dartmouth College, where he won his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1899. A mental review of the broad field of business led him to be decision to take up the practice of medicine and surgery as a life work, and with this end in view, he enrolled as a student in the Jefferson Medical College, where his Doctor of Medicine degree was conferred on him in 1903. For two years he was resident physician at St Agnes Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then spent eighteen months as a physician at Girard College, gaining broad and valuable knowledge and experience through his hospital work. When that period had elapsed he moved to Bridgeton in 1906, and while he continued in general practice since, he largely specialised in surgery during the next twenty years, winning high rating through the high skill and efficiency which he developed. He possessed the calm nerve, the steady hand and the sound judgement of the able surgeon and since going to Bridgeton, has served on the staff of the Bridgeton hospital, and in 1925 became chief surgeon of the institution.
Dr Sewall was a president of the Cumberland County Medical Society, a member of the New Jersey Medical Society and the American Medical Association and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His professional activities also included service as a regimental surgeon of the 82nd division in World War I, with the rank of major.
Outside of the professional field, Dr Sewall was a director of the Bethlehem and Machine and Foundry Company, at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.8
