He was born in June 1750.2 He was the son of Captain George Tindal R.N. and Diana Pocklington.2 Robert Tindal married firstly Sarah Pocock, daughter of John Pocock.1 Robert Tindal married secondly Elizabeth Robinson on 19 December 1820 in St. Andrew Undershaft, London.3 Robert Tindal died on 8 January 1833 in Kingston Square, Bath, at the age of 82.4

Henry Uhtoff, on 12 December 1816 in Huntingfield, Suffolk.2 Thomas Tindal died on 26 July 1850 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, at the age of 66.3,4

     Thomas William Tindal was born on 8 September 1821.1 He was the son of Thomas Tindal and Mary Anne Uhtoff.1 Thomas William Tindal married firstly Louisa Mathilda Trueman, daughter of Thomas Trueman, on 3 September 1864 in British Embassy, Paris.1 Thomas William Tindal married secondly Jessie Boyd, daughter of Edward Lennox Boyd, on 21 December 1889 in Chapel Royal, Savoy.2 Thomas William Tindal died on 6 November 1903 in Queen's Mansions, London, at the age of 82.3

He was educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge, taking his B.A. degree in 1845 and his M.A. in 1848. He entered at Lincoln's Inn on May 3,1845, and afterwards practised as a special pleader in Paper Buildings, Temple. For many years ho enjoyed a large practice, and was well known at Judges' Chambers. He was called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1885, but never appeared in Court.3
