Sir Thomas Tomlinson, Chief Justice of Zanzibar from 1925 to 1928, died on Easter Day at the age of 87.
The son of the Rev. A. R. Tomlinson, he was born on November 2, 1877, and educated at Marlborough and Trinity College, Cambridge, and called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1901.
