Penuel Titcomb was born on 16 December 1650 in Newbury, Massachusetts.2,3 He was the son of William Titcomb and Joanna Bartlett. Penuel Titcomb married Lydia Poore, daughter of John/1 Poore and Sarah (Unknown), on 8 January 1684 in Newbury, Massachusetts.1,4 Penuel Titcomb made a will on 4 January 1717/18 he left his estate, both real and personal, to his three sons, William, John and Joseph, his wife having a life interest in a third part of it. She also had all the silver and houshold goods. To his daughter, Sarah Bailey, he bequeathed four pounds only, as she had already had her portion. His three sons were appointed executors, and his brothers Benaiah and WIlliam overseers.5 He died on 5 February 1718 in Newbury at the age of 67.1,6

Pierson Titcomb married firstly Marcrat (Peggy) Morrill on 6 April 1800 at Newburyport, Massachusetts.1,3 Lieut. Pierson Titcomb married secondly Anne Maria de Les Dernier, daughter of Peter Francis Christian de Les Dernier and Elizabeth Ellis, after 1801.4 Lieut. Pierson Titcomb died on 11 December 1855 in Dedham at the age of 79.5
