Mrs. Ada W. Diephuis, wife of the Rev. Albert Diephuis, Pastor of the Church of the Redeemer (Swedenborgian) in Lakewood, died in New York and was buried in Newark, N.J., last week.
Mrs. Diephuis, 77, had gone to New York to see her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Blackber who was leaving for Cairo, Egypt. Mrs. Blackber is on the staff of the United Nations.
The family residence is at 2009 Morrison Avenue, Lakewood. The Rev. Mr. Diephuis has been at the church for the last four years. Twenty years ago he had been there, but left for a post in New Jersey. Also surviving Mrs. Diephuis is another daughter, Mrs. Jack Cairns.3
